Hi, I’m Whitney Rutter, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern.
I’m a counseling intern who loves to help my clients become better equipped to handle the struggles of life. I believe that counseling is a collaborative effort between the counselor and client, and I will work alongside you to help you uncover what matters most in your life, and then use those values to build the life that you want to have.
I have loved stories for my entire life- so it is no surprise that I have always been an avid reader and am now a counselor! I also enjoy cross stitching, working out, baking, and listening to audiobooks. My husband and I own a Corgi, Evie, and we can frequently be found on family walks outside.
I started my own counseling journey in my twenties, and it was life changing for me. Now in my thirties, I decided to go into this field because I truly believe that counseling offers the power of connection and can be an incredible force for change in someone’s life. I love being able to help clients see the strength and resilience that is already within them, and helping them make the choices to accomplish their goals.
