Our licensed therapists are trained to help couples and families in healing through difficult issues. Our counselors strive to provide a safe and empathetic space that allows for a non-judgmental and friendly human experience to help initiate change.

Therapy for Couples & Families

We must protect, nurture, and love each other through our journey. Our bonds, connections, and community around us are the foundation to our success and our happiness depends on it!

Each family member is a part of this structure and in order to maintain its function, we recommend looking at change from a systems perspective. Sometimes, however, life brings difficult roads and concerns that couples and families need assistance with.

Communication, healthy boundaries, blended family issues, marital discord, trauma, and many other difficult journeys are part of our expertise here at Insight. Sometimes it is necessary to have a counselor assist members of your family to better understand each other, support each other, and work through conflicts.

Here's How It Works

Initial Session

Follow-Up Care

Your first step to this therapy journey with us is to simply reach out! You are brave and you should be proud! The intake call will consist of gathering information about your concerns, age of client , insurance, and other important information that helps us with scheduling.

At your initial session, your counselor will gather important information that will help guide treatment and make recommendations. We will examine mental status, establish a diagnosis, make recommendations, and decide if the client is appropriate for outpatient counseling at our practice.

After your initial session, your counselor will make recommendations for your care, and schedule a follow up visit. In the second session, you and your counselor will develop a treatment plan by establishing goals and clinical interventions. Sessions will be scheduled either weekly, biweekly or monthly.
